Marine Corps Birthday Ball - Lotte Hotel, Moscow (November 4, 2017)

242nd U.S. Marine Corps Birthday Ball
Moscow, Russia
Saturday, November 4, 2017
Lotte Hotel

The Marine Corps birthday ball is celebrated every year on 10 November with a traditional ball and cake-cutting ceremony. On that day in 1775, the Continental Marines were established.
They're a branch of the United States Armed Forces and are responsible for conducting amphibious operations capable of fighting on land or sea.

Angie (our Canadian neighbour) was given several of the centerpieces, so she was kind enough to give one to us. How lovely!
