Egyptian AFOSA luncheon
One of the wonderful parts of being an attache's spouse is you get to experience new things, new cultures, new food. Yesterday we were at Andiamo Restaurant in Moscow for the monthly AFOSA (Air Force Officer Spouse Association) luncheon (called "coffee mornings"). It is hosted by different countries each month and is held in restaurants, embassies, and once even in a bowling alley! I love thes group of ladies, and especially this smaller group. There was a great turn out for the Egyptian coffee morning and we were not disappointed! There was fantastic Egyptian cuisine and we were entertained by two male dancers performing a "whirling dervish" show (which was fantastic!)
Thank you SO much to Nora and Reham, it was a fantastic time! Well done!
Wonderful food buffet all home-made by our Egyptian hostesses! |
